SPRING RECESS:  STUDIO CLOSES APRIL 6 - CLASSES RESUME APRIL 13

MEMORIAL DAY:  MAY 28

Dress Policy:

Hair must be pinned back neatly. Girls taking pointe classes must wear their hair in a bun. All pointe students must take a minimum of three classes weekly: two technique and one pointe class.

Attendance Policy:

Make-up classes will be allowed for students who have been ill. The class must be made up within one month of the date of absence. Please call the studio (607.432.6290) when your child cannot make class.

School Closings / Inclement Weather:

Please look at our website, find us on facebook, or listen to WZOZ or WRSK for closing due to inclement weather. If there has been no announcement by 2:00 PM on weekdays, the studio will be open. For your children’s safety, please be prompt in delivering and picking them up. Parents’ watching days will be held during the weeks of November 7 through 12, February 6 through 11 and May 21 through 26.

Recitals:

Recital dates are are April 27 and 28. Beginner, Intermediate I and II students will rehearse for the recital during the second half of their class hour February through March. They will be required to attend the last three Saturday rehearsals (March 31, April 7, and 21,).  Older participants must be available for rehearsals on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Costume deposits will be due the second week in November. All students who participate in the annual recital are obligated to pay tuition for the full term.

“Nutcracker” Auditions:

Will be held in the studio Saturday, October 1. Those who are cast in “The Nutcracker” must be available for rehearsals on Saturdays and/or Sundays from October 15 through performance dates. Nutcracker dates are December 15, 16, and 17.
